Spring has sprung, but only Scout and Eleanore are up and at ‘em. While the guys on the crew hit the hibernation snooze button (curses climate change!!!), the girls launch their new TV station. Michael Jay chats with boreal critters who survive winter in wildly different ways. Just as filming wraps, the boys have a rude awakening when Brian the Bear releases his hibernation “cork” in their burrow and answers the age-old question: does a bear poop in the woods?
A beloved member of the film crew gets abducted by an eagle and Scout rallies her team for a rescue mission. The squirrels brace themselves for danger in the squishy, spooky wetlands, but when they stumble upon a bedazzling bog they’re awestruck. Marsha Fenway is hosting "Bog's Got Talent” and the crew livestreams the spectacle from the broadcast station. During the final performance, the long-lost friend arrives just in time to save all but one of the critters from the eagle, reminding the crowd that the wild keeps it real and bog is life.

All the Northern Tails critters have come together in a tribute to the classic, global chart-topper “We Are the World”. They are taking a stand, taking care of each other and reminding us that the forest is home to all of us. #BorealBoosters
About Northern Tails
A puppet-powered wildlife web series with heart, smarts and silly bits.
After its wildly successful “mockmentary” pilot season, the curious (and slightly chaotic) crew of ground squirrels are now in charge of the forest’s favourite television station. Comedy, science and retro vibes are still at the heart of the show, but the species and environment are adapting to new climate realities.
